Product Marketing Manager

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate product marketer to help strategically attract and serve the biggest brands in the world. You’ll play a critical role in helping us grow and execute our Go-To-Market Strategy by working cross-functionally with senior leaders in the company as well as interfacing constantly with the product, sales, marketing, and customer success organizations to develop and implement measurable strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Driving messaging, packaging, pricing, and positioning for Salsify’s brand-focused offerings that help us achieve our revenue goals
  • Building  and communicating a deep understanding of the market, emerging trends, recommended segmentation, and how technology fits in for brand manufacturers
  • Owning cross-functional launches of product features and marketing programs
  • Maintaining and updating our competitive positioning and personas based on continual feedback from internal audiences and the market
  • Providing analyst and sales demos as neededIdentifying and communicating trends that impact key brand manufacturers within our target list and communicating those trends internally
  • Creating valuable sales enablement resources to close more deals and grow our revenue (in part, responsible for win/loss rate)
  • Driving key customer behaviors and feature adoption that return revenue
  • Providing continual feedback to the Product team from prospects and customers to ensure we build a platform that delivers value to the market
  • Understanding new offerings and creating compelling messaging and materials about product releases for multiple audiences (sales, customers, the industry, etc.)
  • Contribute to the broader market-facing vision and go-to-market strategy for Salsify products from beginning to end

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience launching products and creating packaging and positioning for varied market segments
  • Experience working with complex products and markets
  • A comfort with addressing large groups and senior audiences
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop strong cross -functional partnerships
  • Proven ability to create content for sales and thought leadership initiatives
  • At least 4 years working in a enterprise technology or ecommerce company or agency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Insatiable curiosity
