Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

85% Integration Management

  • Drive successful integration implementation of emerging integration projects (serving our Platform and athenaOne customer base), acting as the single point of contact for customers taking advantage of new functionality whether it be new customers onto athenas cloud-based platform or post-live projects to bring our current customers enhanced functionality and stability

  • Manage integration program plans and all details including but not limited to: Timeline management, risk mitigation and issue solution management, stakeholder and partner management, to ensure all deliverables are delivered with high quality on time

  • Drive program success through stakeholder management including customers project team, senior management, C-level leaders, and third-party vendors

  • Responsible for coordination of all athena teams involved in integration delivery, including but not limited to Sales, Solution Design, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success

  • Provide technical troubleshooting to ensure enduring customer success

  • Coordinate onboarding and post live programs across multiple customers including management of varied timelines and increased technical complexity

  • Establish internal and external relationships to help drive customer success

  • Engage with monitoring and mitigating patient safety risks

  • Represent and articulate Integration Services point of view within athena and with our customers

  • Problem solve and communicate feedback related to efficiency and improvement within emerging products and solutions

  • Special projects necessary in order to manage industry or company change, and/or projects of strategic importance

  • Liaise with IS APPS and Product teams as necessitated by individual customer projects to ensure that the needs of our customers are being met

  • Develop implementation playbooks, guides, and other documentation in order to allow for the repeatable and efficacious delivery of new integration types

  • Train other integration program managers on new integration types and help stabilize delivery process

15% Internal Projects

  • Participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives in support of team/division/company yearly goals to improve athenahealths overall operations

  • Engage in process optimization to drive service integrity for customers and operational efficiency for all stakeholders (in agile and traditional models)

  • Engage with culture activities and initiatives in order to promote a healthy team

Education, Experience & Skills Required:

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) required, advanced degree a plus

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

  • Ability to lead complex technology and/or healthcare engagements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities

  • Possess excellent communication skills, including listening, writing, and relationship development at all levels of an organization

  • Possess technical and analytical skills along with a desire and ability to solve complex business problems

  • Ability to keep track of numerous, interdependent projects in detail, while providing the context of the bigger picture

  • Flexibility and the ability to handle rapidly changing priorities as needed

  • Aptitude for optimizing processes, tools, and role(s) to improve scalability, efficiency and quality

  • Assesses information critically, recognizing trends and breaking information into key components and able to generate and recommend ideas for improvement and process innovation

  • Understanding of healthcare environment and the demands of the business as well as the intricacies of the clinical environment, is a plus
