The Role
Be a part of the next-generation commercial data warehouse for life sciences. Veeva Nitro is the life sciences-specific commercial data warehouse that delivers fast and actionable business insights. As a key member of our Nitro team you will have an excellent opportunity to work for the software leader in life sciences and be part of a growing team and operate in a start-up environment.
Our ideal candidate will have experience leading life sciences commercial data and analytics solutions. In this role you will have the opportunity to shape solution architecture and drive the client engagement from strategy to implementation to deliver customer success.
This is a work anywhere, full-time permanent role with Veeva. Our work processes are designed so that you can be productive in the environment that works best for you. This is a customer-facing role and we have no work location requirement if you are in close proximity to an airport and able to meet future travel requirements.

What Youll Do
- Information management solution architecture and thought leadership to provide strategic guidance to our key customers
- Guide customers to leverage their internal and external data assets fully with the right insights, processes and tools
- Guide customers on industry data sources, usage, key metrics and analytical best practices for large, small, specialty pharmaceutical clients
- Lead large data and analytics implementation for complex requirements
- Lead and mentor a team of analytics professionals to deliver customer success
Requirements
- Data / information management practices and implementation experience for 8+ years
- Data warehousing and business intelligence project lead experience for 4+ years
- Life Sciences commercial data expertise and knowledge for 5+ years
- Proficiency in data warehousing concepts, dimensional data modeling, SQL, data processing, integration, query performance tuning etc.
- Expert with one or more business intelligence / reporting / dash-boarding tool like Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Oracle BI etc.
Nice to Have
- Data / information management practices and implementation experience for 10+ years
- Data warehousing and business intelligence project lead experience for 6+ years
- Life Sciences commercial data expertise and knowledge for 7+ years
- Proficiency in data warehousing concepts, dimensional data modeling, SQL, data processing, integration, query performance tuning etc.
- Expert with one or more business intelligence / reporting / dash-boarding tool like Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Oracle BI etc.
