Responsibilities

Who you are

This full-time position will be part of the logistics, eCommerce, and hardware devices team within the Technical Operations Department at Virgin Pulse. You will manage the online store operation. You will be responsible for monitoring, coordinating and enhancing warehouse and fulfillment operations. You will work cross-functionally among all internal departments and many external customers and vendors.

In the role of Manager, eCommerce & Logistics you will wear many hats but your attention will be crucial in the following;

  • Managing the online store, developing strategies and making recommendations to best serve the interests of our business.
  • Evaluate and bring new products into the eCommerce online store to meet the needs of our members and generate revenue for the business
  • Meeting members expectations by recommending changes to product or services and websites.
  • Oversight for all Third-Party Labor (3PL) contractor activities, including contract management, operations and converting support, maintenance, and material handling/shipping.
  • Collaborate with other teams to implement effective systems
  • Identify risks and issues, and make recommendations to business leadership.
  • Being a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Virgin Pulse’s Customer and Member Service teams and other internal teams
  • Provide recommendations for improvement on all of the manual processes
  • Leverage and analyze logistics data, drive gap analysis and lead improvement.
  • Review orders placed through the eCommerce store, monitor electronic file transfer process and exception reporting and processes for corrections
  • Monitor product stock levels and complete internal purchase orders to ensure availability. Liaise with warehouses and finance teams to ensure correct fulfillment and delivery of ordered stock through suppliers and shipping services.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

What you bring to the team.

  • Excellent written, oral communication, and organization skills; proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms such as NopCommerce and Shopify preferred
  • Sound knowledge of website management and eCommerce functionality
  • Operational knowledge of techniques required for market research and analysis
  • Extensive experience with practices and techniques related to web merchandising or online retailing
  • Must have positive and can-do attitude, attention to details, creative thinking, and strong problem solving skills; a team player.
  • Understanding of supply chain processes and financial data analysis
  • Proven experience in creating management reports, business correspondence, data analysis, and preparing and understanding procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work with multiple 3rd party logistics, shippers, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Self motivation and ability to manage competing priorities; must be able to multi task and get things done in a fast paced while under pressure and changing environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
  • A college or relevant degree with qualified experience.
