Product Operations Manager

Our Agile Program Managers bring a wide variety of skills through different personal and professional backgrounds across many different industries. Quite simply, they are great collaborators and understand that outcomes matter for our customers. Agile Program Managers are seen as expert facilitators, system thinkers, and drive all that comes with executing across our planning and delivery process for our products. They are at the center of it all working with individuals and teams to optimize the flow of work and continuously improve our system. Bottom line, our Agile Program Managers serve the organization to make everything around them better to ensure we exceed customer expectations.

What youll do!

  • Observe the flow of work through our organization by ensuring business and product strategy is aligned to the execution.

  • Facilitate various cross-functional planning and delivery events to ensure the right feedback loops are in place all the while seeing where we need to continuously improve the system. Examples events include:

    • Planning Readiness Activities (Prioritization and Capacity Planning)

    • R&D Quarterly Planning Events

    • Product Steering

    • Product Reviews

    • Cadenced and Ad-hoc Retrospectives

    • Cross-functional collaboration needed for successful delivery to our GTM Teams

  • Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to track our planning and execution activities through the appropriate tools to enable better decision making.

  • Drive the removal of planning and delivery impediments through cross-functional collaboration.

  • Ensure risks are transparent to the organization and are owned or mitigated through the appropriate individuals and teams.

  • Ensure dependencies are well understood in the plan and strive to minimize these in the future when possible.

  • Establish a team health framework that can be leveraged by teams and the organization to know where we need to amplify and improve.

  • Own and establish critical planning and delivery metrics so the organization can optimize the flow value through the system.

  • Own and communicate the annual planning and delivery calendars for our products.

  • Work closely with Product Management and Product Marketing to ensure GTM activities are understood to ensure smooth delivery to our internal GTM teams

What youll bring!

  • 5+ years experience in software program management or closely related roles in a SaaS product environment.

  • You have 3+ years working with Agile methodologies within teams and teams of teams.

  • You have experience with B2B enterprise software and cloud technologies.

  • You have plenty of experience working with Agile ALM tools to help teams of teams plan and deliver effectively while understanding the right metrics to track for the process.

  • You understand the ins and outs of technologies at the appropriate level to recognize when things may go wrong or are going wrong.

  • You're amazing at decision-making, consensus building and conflict management. You're a natural problem-solver. You know how to influence and affect change at all levels of the organization without having positional authority, and you have experience communicating up to the Executive level of an organization.

  • You are comfortable mentoring and coaching people at all levels of the organization.

  • You can facilitate a room of 5 to a room of 400 to get the outcomes needed.
