Its role is to strengthen FBs content policies by bringing global knowledge and feedback into the policy development process, through relationships with NGOs, academics, and other thought leaders.

As Trusted Partner Program Manager, you will be responsible for understanding the global landscape of Internet-related advocacy groups, think tanks, activists, and NGOs, and their priorities and concerns regarding content and accounts on our platforms. You will be responsible for managing our Trusted Partner program, through which we engage with and support stakeholders in connection with the enforcement of our Community Standards. You will develop a strategy for expanding, maintaining, and strengthening relationships in this area, working extensively with partners outside the United States. You will work with worldwide NGOs to provide education on our content policies and to enhance effective usage of our reporting mechanisms. You will work with Facebook Policy colleagues across the globe to take regional context into account for program design. You will also work with our Operations team to ensure that we are correctly enforcing our policies in relation to content that stakeholders report, and you will work with other members of the Content Policy team to improve our policies based on feedback received via this program.

You will work with a highly talented and experienced team of subject matter and regional experts on content policies for Facebook and Instagram. You will be responsible for understanding both Facebook and Instagrams business priorities, and for designing and maintaining a program that best serves the company and the people who use our services.

The successful candidate will be an experienced program manager, communicator, organizer, and presenter. I'm an engineering manager on our real-time infrastructure team, and my team focuses on GraphQL Subscriptions — a component of the widely-used GraphQL open source query language for APIs — that makes it easier for engineers to build real-time features into their products. At Facebook, this framework powers a number of features that people use every day, including comment-typing indicators and streaming reactions on live videos.

At Facebook, you have the opportunity to contribute to an incredibly wide range of infrastructure projects. While our engineers have a variety of expertise, they share a passion for solving complex engineering challenges at scale. It's humbling to know that everything you work on can potentially impact more than two billion people around the world.

We develop the network software for Facebook applications on iOS and Android platforms. This includes measuring and improving performance, reliability, security, and efficiency of network communication with Facebook servers. Getting the most out of a diverse set of worldwide mobile networks, and millions of handsets with a wide range of hardware capabilities is challenging as well as fun. All this while we play good citizens in these networks and are mindful of the device battery, storage, and data consumption.
