What You Will Do:

  • Be the voice of the customer, passionately committed to aligning customer needs with business goals
  • Visualize the end-to-end experience, defining the right customer experience across multiple channels
  • Audit competitive experiences to understand and develop best practices for the M.Gemi customer
  • Convey cross-channel customer experiences through user flows, journey maps, storyboards, etc
  • Convey UX design ideas using sketches, wireframes, mockups and digital prototypes
  • Evaluate digital designs by constantly testing them with customers both in prototype form and in the live M.Gemi website
  • Provide support during technical implementation and launch
  • Consistently share usability and customer-centric findings with stakeholders to help drive decision making
  • Be an advocate of mobile first design and progressive enhancement

  • 5+ years of experience as a user experience designer with a proven track record of shipping consumer products or features where youve managed the design process, collaborated across teams, defined tasks and delivered an exceptional user experience that youre proud of
  • Led a small team of designers or operated independently as the sole design lead on a product team
  • Has developed high-level and detailed user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and experience design ideas
  • Experience with user testing and UX research methods to uncover usability problems and unmet customer needs
  • Comfortable working with customer experiences across digital and physical touchpoints
  • A proven collaborator - this is a highly cross-functional role, which requires the ability to work with multiple product, engineering, designers and business stakeholders
  • Experience with Sketch, Invision and Zeplin tools plus Agile, SCRUM and Lean UX frameworks
  • You work with a serious sense of urgency
  • Early stage experience a plus
