Responsible for extraction and manipulation of structured and unstructured data from multiple, large data sources, using advanced statistical techniques and software to develop predictive models and actionable analytic insights to inform business decisions. Applies analytical rigor and statistical methods to analyze large amounts of data, using advanced statistical techniques. Develop and use algorithms and statistical predictive models. Inform clinical program decisions with performance and segmentation analysis. Design and evaluate Test and Control experiments for clinical interventions to improve member health. Lead and perform analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve business problems using advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analysis. Collaborate with business partners to understand their problems and goals, develop predictive modeling, statistical analysis, data reports and performance metrics to improve engagement and impact of clinical programs. Develop and participate in presentations and consultations to existing and prospective constituents on analytics results and solutions. Utilize algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns, and recommend solutions. Use programming languages Hive, R, H2O and Python to explore, examine and interpret large volumes of data in various forms.
Masters Degree in Statistics, Analytics, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of data science experience including collaborating with business partners to understand problems, gather business requirements, and design analytics solution frameworks. Previous experience must include working in SQL or HIVE to extract, manipulate and analyze large structured and unstructured data sets from multiple data sources; utilizing R and Python; building statistical and machine learning predictive models; working on segmentation projects using clustering techniques including K-means, Hierarchical clustering, and PAM; and utilizing mathematical analysis methods, study design, randomization, stratification, statistical analyses, and matching techniques; and performing report automation and visualization using programs including Tableau.
