Lead and participate in the development, validation and delivery of algorithms, statistical models, reporting tools and strategic growth projects, to evaluate scenarios that solve complex problems in areas such as member growth and retention. Perform analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve multiple and/or complex business problems utilizing advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses, and broad knowledge of the health insurance organization and/or industry. Collaborate directly with business partners in the Marketing division to translate their business needs into analytical solutions and provide actionable insights & recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Use strong programming skills to explore, examine and interpret large volumes of data in various forms. Utilize data visualization techniques to effectively communicate analytical results and support business decisions. Streamline processes that help with campaign operations and execution.
Masters degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science or closely related.
Minimum of two years of experience working with data science, statistics and data-driven problem-solving. Must have the following experience conducting end-to-end statistical & predictive model design; engaging in development and deployment using Python, R, SAS, Spark, and H2O; and collecting, synthesizing, analyzing and interpreting large volumes of data using SQL and Hive. Must also have experience building & managing multiple stakeholder relationships; translating advanced analytical results or implications into simple business intelligence solutions using Tableau, R Shiny, PowerPoint; and conducting B2B/B2C campaign execution and measurement optimization.
