Implement and deliver analytical solutions by developing data science driven descriptive and predictive models using statistical programming languages that aim to improve budget optimization, media mix efficiency and targeting efficiency. Perform data extraction and transformation tasks to convert data into a structured format that allows for model development, automated reporting and derived insights. Work with the marketing and sales teams to identify the business needs, understand their strategic plans and provide analytical solutions for offline and online campaigns. Develop front end visualizations using business intelligence tools to visualize and explain data trends. Conduct deep dive analyses to identify key drivers of performance. Design A/B tests and develop measurement plans to determine statistical significance using Power tests. Use HiveQL/SQL, R, Python, SAS, Tableau and advanced analytics/statistical techniques for data wrangling, modeling, segmentation, hypothesis testing and performance optimization. Develop data storage and modeling solutions using tools such as SQL Server, SAS, Hadoop and Netezza. Work closely with other analytical consultants, data scientists, data engineers, visualization specialists to drive end-to-end data gathering, data automation, predictive modeling, code maintenance, visualization and reporting. Present findings and analysis in a succinct and presentable manner to executive leadership.
Masters Degree in Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Statistics, Business Analytics or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in exploratory data analysis, linear and non-linear predictive modeling, optimization and machine learning techniques. Must have experience with the following: hypothesis testing and sampling techniques to design marketing campaigns using statistical methods; analyzing large-scale data sets from multiple data sources by leveraging languages and tools including SAS, R, Python, Spark; working with HiveQL, MS-SQL, and Hadoop; and developing interactive dashboards using business intelligence including Tableau.
