POSITION SUMMARY


The Senior Analyst works with a fast-paced team of business and technical collaborators to implement and deliver pharmacy benefit analytical services for a portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate is a project management expert with a strong history of delivering data-driven results to a non-technical audience. This role is instrumental in providing key functions and support for the team including managing and meeting schedule of deliverables, managing the creation and distribution of client-facing deliverables, analyzing and validating data, quality control of system configuration, and collaborating cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage delivery deadlines and schedules for a portfolio of key clients
  • Consolidate and validate data in order to perform analysis and build a client profile
  • Evaluate pharmacy benefit contract terms to develop strategy and identify areas for improvement
  • Generate reports and drive high standards through continuous optimization of quality assurance and management practices
  • Proactively recognize and work to resolve issues that may cause deadline risk
  • Present findings externally to key clients and pharmacy benefit consultants as well as internally to Sales, Account Management, and Executives
  • Provide subject matter expertise to key clients, pharmacy benefit consultants, and internal partners
  • Manage and document workflow using a project management system
  • Partner with business and technical collaborators to develop and implement product enhancements
  • Manage ongoing relationships with internal and external parties

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Expert in Microsoft Office including data manipulation, analysis, and report creation
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets utilizing SQL and Excel tools
  • Detail oriented problem solver, able to quickly spot trends and discrepancies
  • Professional and effective verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience collaborating well with technical and non-technical staff
  • History of successfully producing deliverables against tight timelines
  • Strong project management skills including the development and maintenance of project plans

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Motivated to take initiative on both individual and team wide tasks
  • Proven experience preparing report packages containing graphical findings and corresponding commentary
  • Proven experience analyzing data and presenting analytical findings to non-technical audiences
  • Basic knowledge of programming syntax (Python, SQL)
  • Demonstrated project planning ability
  • Bachelor's degree with relevant major (Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field)
  • 3-5 years of experience in relevant roles, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) focus a plus
