The Media Community Development team contributes directly to Facebook’s mission by connecting creators with their audiences, helping them meet their objectives through solutions like Pages, Videos, Live and Ad Breaks. We succeed when we help our partners grow their content business. The business operations team is searching for an experienced and entrepreneurial Project Manager to work with internal stakeholders to help scale our team. This individual will be responsible for working with a cross-functional team including marketing, product and operations to operationalize the strategy to support scaling Facebook video products with creators and other partner segments. Ideal candidates are organized thinkers who can break down complex problems, build solutions, deliver actionable and data-driven insights, and working in a dynamic environment.   RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive process improvements: Work with Media Community Development leadership, product, operations and marketing and other teams to optimize and execute our scaling and product adoption strategies and process improvements
  • Establish project plans and strategic planning templates to achieve the desired business outcomes, providing a centralized view across the cross functional team teams
  • Lead and manage large-scale, organization-wide projects through planning, development, launch, stabilization and close
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and/or projects with multiple workstreams that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders inside and outside of Media Community Development
  • Consult with stakeholders on their current operations, suggest improvements, and partner on change management
  • Assist with escalated issues on priorities, goals, strategies, resources and key initiatives as related to Media Partnerships-wide projects
  • Streamline internal communication strategies and channels
    • BA or BS Degree
    • 8+ years experience in the tech and media industry
    • Knowledge of Facebook products, Facebook the company, and social media
    • Experience building relationships at all levels of an organization
    • Communication and presentation experience, and experience clarifying and summarizing issues
    • PMP and Six Sigma certification and/or relative project management/process improvement experience
    • Strategic, analytical and problem solving experience
    • Experience working cross-functionally and holding people accountable for deliverables without a formal reporting structure
    • Experience working independently with minimum supervision and leading multiple projects simultaneously involving various groups/locations/vendors
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity
