TripAdvisor: Programmatic Sales Executive

The TripAdvisor Americas Programmatic Sales Lead will be responsible for day-to-day activities for the Americas programmatic accounts, assisting in the operationalization of our programmatic strategy, and championing programmatic education and knowledge across the region. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a focused programmatic buying or selling role @ an agency, publisher, ad/mar-tech co., and will report to the Sr. Director of Sales, Americas

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee and drive delivery against programmatic revenue objectives
  • Lead relationships with key programmatic demand partners (including advertiser and agency trade desks) to drive strategic integrations
  • Provide coverage for senior agency and brand contacts, in partnership with sales
  • Programmatic thought leader internally championing programmatic propositions within the company
  • Exploration and development of TripAdvisor programmatic product offerings with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Work with Ad Operations to develop and integrate programmatic product offerings
  • Partner with Ad Operations to scale programmatic operations through automation (eg. Reporting), application of regional best practices and adoption of market-leading practices
  • Optimize balance of ad inventory supply and demand to maximize revenue and meet advertiser goals
  • Monitor daily platform performance and be proactive in addressing discrepancies
  • Work closely with Ad Operations to manage, evolve and grow relationships with demand partners (Agencies, Brand Advertisers, DSPs, Exchanges, Networks etc).
  • Help define go-to-market strategy for our programmatic offerings in partnership with existing stakeholders
  • Deliver data-driven insights that encompass market/industry trends, supply and demand dynamics etc.
  • Help define and execute communication strategy in partnership with sales team
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on all things programmatic for multiple internal and external stakeholder groups

What We are Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in a programmatic buying or selling role at an agency, publisher or mar-tech co
  • Subject matter expertise in programmatic advertising
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Ad Operations professionals
  • Creative, out of the box thinker
  • Goal oriented seller and account manager
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Comfort with a fast-paced and technical working environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bachelors degree required
