The Analytic Consulting Group partners with internal and external clients and data providers, leveraging predictive analytics and advanced statistical techniques to drive strategic thought and effective decision making. The Lead Analytic Consultant, client-facing, designing, planning, and managing analytic initiatives from start to finish, developing machine-learning solutions to help our clients achieve their business objectives.
Use your analytics and machine learning expertise to research and recommend the best analytic approaches to solving the marketing problems facing our clients
Drives creative and innovative data science / machine learning applications and results
Assist in the development of project requirements, analytic plans, project timelines, and other related materials for the management of deliverables
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage data logistics, including data transfers, understanding data structures, business rules, etc. to enable project execution
QA/QC data and output to ensure accuracy
Create compelling presentations that provide actionable insights and recommendations
Present reports to key internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating the key findings and recommendations
Manage multiple projects concurrently to ensure successful completion of analytic projects
Identify new analytic capabilities and compare/contrast with existing methods
Bachelor degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related scientific discipline)
5 years of experience manipulating large data sets, both structured & unstructured, with natural curiosity for exploring data and finding the untold story
Strong understanding of statistics, modeling and machine learning techniques
5 years of professional hands-on experience building analytic processes and solutions at scale
Able to present ML concepts, algorithms and analytic approaches to variety of audiences
Mastery of the following programming languages: SAS, Python, R and SQL. Familiarity with cloud based, open source computing environment
Experience with distributed computing, such as Hadoop, Spark, or related technologies
Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment and highly motivated
Solid planning, priority setting, and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects and resources concurrently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to display data visually, creating powerful presentations which effectively demonstrate the value of analytic deliverables
Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Statistics, Economics or other quantitative discipline
Experience mentoring or managing direct report(s)
Proficient with business visualization tools (e.g. interactive dashboard software)
Strong ability in developing relationships with clients and cross-functional teams (including statistical, technical, and marketing resources)
