TripAdvisor: Head of B2B Marketing

TripAdvisor is the worlds largest online travel site, visited by 450+ million travelers each month. We are assistive and informative to travelers throughout their entire travel journey and own deep relationships with an incredibly valuable audience of travel intenders.

As the B2B Marketing lead, you will be responsible for providing sales support and marketing efforts to our global sales team. You will create the overall Go-To-Market strategy and client facing narrative across the organization.. You are a creative leader with a deep understanding of connecting marketing strategies to business objectives, utilizing deep knowledge of consumer insights and industry trends.

What youll do:

  • Establish the go-to-market strategy and associated roadmaps for the TripAdvisor products, networks, and offerings and evangelize that vision and strategy across the organization and B2B marketplace

  • Develop and craft our core B2B positioning and story to be amplified at key tentpoles (CES, Cannes), via collateral, events and marketing programs

  • Work closely with product development, editorial, business development, operations, and sales to proactively assess demand and opportunity for new products and revenue

  • Build a marketing plan that amplifies the benefits of TripAdvisors ad platform and increases visibility with agencies, brands, industry partners, influencers and others

  • Distill complex solutions into compelling narratives positioning, value propositions, and category-based stories around new and existing products and lines of business

  • Find solutions-based ways to grow advertising revenue by collaborating with numerous internal constituents and external parties to develop appealing and profitable proposals for advertising clients.

  • Develop clear, yet innovative marketing materials around new and existing products

  • Work across the company to ensure our go-to-market rollouts align with global company announcements, strategies and calendar and advise on adjustments

  • Work with key analytic talent across the company to mine our data for key stories to tell

  • Build and manage materials critical to the sales organization, including pitch materials, category reports, one-sheets, media kit, product updates, competitive insights, and sizzle reels

  • Act as a key partner to the Training and Enablement team to ensure training materials map back to messaging and value props

  • Manage client engagement across channels (newsletters, industry events, etc)

  • Act as point person for the creation of case studies for campaigns and products across LOBs and look to socialize them externally and internally

  • Track regional and category revenue insights, ensuring teams are supported with appropriate materials that address specific market needs and strategies

What youll bring:

  • 10+ years as a senior marketing leader in the digital advertising space

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and leadership skills

  • Digital media industry experience

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines and multiple requests, work effectively under pressure and within tight timelines

  • Familiarity with sales organizations and media terms
