Summary
Facebook is seeking a Head of Agency to oversee our US relationship with a major advertising Holding Company. This person will be accountable for a specific book of business as well as leading broader horizontal efforts across channels, functions and sales teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in selling cross-network marketing solutions to Fortune 500 advertisers and a proven ability to reach and influence executive level customers and drive new business. Additionally, the candidate will have experience of working within a matrixed organization as well as experience in leading, coaching and influencing people to generate positive results. Candidates must have strong consultative sales skills, a collaborative and innovative spirit and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the wider North American sales team and is pivotal to Facebook's success.
Required Skills
- Build, inspire, train and manage a talented, motivated, highly consultative sales and services team
- Set clear agency business plans, with defined milestones, KPIs and joint accountability
- Translate the business objectives of the holding company into actionable platform and organizational strategies
- Drive rigorous and scalable approach to solving complex problems for our agency ecosystem
- Lead complex initiatives and deliver scalable agency partner development and team improvements
- Identify winning strategies for scaling horizontal initiatives and insights throughout the organization
- Work cross-functionally with In-Market teams, Global Teams, Business Operations, Platform, Marketing Science, and Product Marketing to optimize our sales efforts
- Consult with Product Marketing to help shape product development in support of partner needs, with particular focus on measurement and brand safety/suitability
- Exceed sales, pricing and yield goals and develop scalable operations solutions and improvements to support Facebooks continued advertiser growth
- Guide the creation of persuasive presentations and stories that demonstrate the value of Facebook to agencies and marketers
- Create and lead culture initiatives to inspire, train and manage a talented, motivated, highly consultative sales and services team
- Establish high level relationships with holding company leadership focused on driving client ROI, industry solutions, agency education, and joint development opportunities
- Serve as an industry thought leader in digital advertising and adapt to Facebooks ongoing product and technology developments
- Excellent ability to forecast and efficiently allocate resources to drive profitable business results including reviewing teams forecast and drive accuracy and effectiveness
- Create and deliver consultative sales using industry knowledge, market trends, and Facebook marketing solutions
- Be point of escalation for any potential issues that could impact client relationships
- Ensure that you and your team always deliver the highest level of customer service and present Facebook solutions in a compelling, positive and professional way
