How you'll help us be successful

As Design Strategy Lead, you will be responsible for breaking down complexity through visual storytelling and conveying our story in a concise and impactful way for various audiences. You will have a direct and immediate influence on supporting our massive growth and also shaping how we position our next generation platform. You will work closely with our founders and leadership team along with cross functional teams on multiple concurrent projects.

  • Build strategic narratives that convey our business, strategy and value proposition through design
  • Amazing ability to communicate and synthesize information into strategic visuals with simple and easy to understand takeaways
  • Understand the architectural and business capabilities of the competition and know how to differentiate Alfred from the rest of the market
  • Clear and effective presentation of information and fast visual translation of ideas
  • Have a deep understanding of information hierarchy, presenting important details in a way that readers can easily absorb
  • Design data-driven stories to inform executive-level decision makers

What superpowers you'll use

  • Develops high-impact visual content that simplifies complex concepts through design and makes it come to life
  • Ability to pull together multiple different, and sometimes conflicting, inputs (data, qualitative feedback, hypothesis, etc.) into a common point of view
  • Ability to use keywords, graphics and design choices to visually communicate a specific message to different audiences

Who you are 

  • 3 - 4 years of experience with a background in management consulting, design or brand strategy
  • Effortless storytelling, communication, and synthesis abilities
  • Youre a creative at heart who can express information through visual design and iterate quickly
  • Comfortable breaking down complex topics into simple, easy to understand ideas
  • Have vision, creativity, and divergent thinking
  • Passionate about all things design and strategy
  • Enjoy collaboration and working in a team environment 
  • Works well under pressure, time-sensitive, and rapidly evolving situations
