The Position:
We are seeking a Cash Analyst to monitor incoming cash for our NORAM and LATAM entities.Priorities will include daily allocation & application of incoming cash from customers, streamlining current procedures, and assisting with month-end close tasks.
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, possess strong written & verbal communication skills, be capable of working both independently and with a team, possess acute problem-solving skills, and demonstrate a high degree of professional persistence and drive.
Responsibilities:

Work directly with the accounting and collections teams across all offices to analyze all cash receipts and determine which customer accounts they should be applied to

Apply cash to customer invoices within the GL system

Work with the Collections team to resolve all unapplied cash and refunds to customers that requires additional investigation

Manage and reconcile various cash accounts to GL

Identify areas in the process which could be improved and implement efficient procedures

Create and manage prepayment process, including sending prebills, applying and reconciliation

Process credit card payment
Education, Experience and Skills:
Bachelors degree
Accounting background preferred
Must be comfortable working in a rapid change environment and be willing to actively participate in projects to process improvements.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)
Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite a plus
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written, ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels within the organization.
Solution focused with the ability to prioritize and lead multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines.
