Account Executive Advisory, NYC
About the Team:
We are a high energy, dynamic, and collaborative team of 30 Sales Associates and Account Executives across North America. We are dedicated to driving revenue through selling our portfolio of M&A deal lifecycle software to some of the largest financial institutions in the world.
Day to Day:
- Present the Intralinks value proposition within the Investment Banking community focused on Mergers and Acquisitions
- Build and maintain strong sales pipeline and forecast, through discovery calls and meetings.
- Drive the sales process and manage the contract and approval process of new deals, including negotiating on price and getting approvals including contract terms.
- Meet or exceed set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), for example on number of calls and meetings and other sales-based activities.
- Manage all information in our Salesforce CRM system related to the account(s)
- Establish and develop relationships with investment bankers
- Develop sales strategy and account plans alongside a team of other dedicated sales professionals
- Build and maintain strong sales pipeline and forecast, through discovery calls and meetings.
- Drive the sales process and manage the contract and approval process of new deals
Minimum Experience:
- 3+ years of quota bearing field sales experience in the SaaS, Software or Tech industries OR a Financial Services background with an interest in a sales career
- Experience managing a highly transactional book of business
- Developed prospecting and researching skills, ability to run customer meetings, product demonstrations and customer presentations
- Knowledge of mergers and acquisitions and broader financial services industry preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of a CRM, Microsoft Office and web-based technologies such as Linkedin and Mergermarket
- Bachelors Degree
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience in the FinTech industry
- Experience using Salesforce
