In this position you will be responsible for:
1. People/Process Management:
Manage and train personnel in the Pharmacy Enrollment team to ensure there is a complete understanding of departmental procedures and the impact of delays in enrollment on our stores and internal departments.
Oversee the maintenance of the Enrollment Database to track any and all provider numbers and key data elements that relate to each pharmacy location.
Oversee the communication of all new provider numbers and provider number changes to internal departments (i.e. Claims Adjudication, Third Party Processing, Contact Support Center Help Desk, external vendors).
Responsible for ensuring that provider numbers are implemented appropriately.
2. Account Management:
Maintaining professional working relationships with third party processors, governmental agencies, retail associations, other internal and external contacts to ensure timely and accurate information is shared in the most efficient manner, and to be able to trouble shoot time sensitive issues.
3. Project Management:
Identify issues and concerns that put the company at risk, develop alternate processes and implement process improvements to eliminate or minimize risk, maximize use of resources, etc. (i.e. scanning to facilitate document retrieval, enrollment application scanning and mail merges to improve efficiency and accuracy, automation).
This position sits in our Woonsocket, RI location, with work from home flexibility. Reporting to the Senior Director of Payer Relations.
7+ years of pharmacy administration operations experience
An understanding of the Retail Pharmacy business and healthcare marketplace
Ability to lead and develop large teams
Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word, PowerPoint and Excel with the ability to present the important concepts and complex messages to several levels
Propensity for analytics; ability to review data points and derive insights that will drive process improvements.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
