We're unleashing the power of mobile technology on the construction industry by building integrated, data-driven solutions to problems that construction companies face every day. TRUX is looking for a Lead UX/UI Designer to take our platforms user experience to new heights. Your initial focus will be working closely with the Engineering and Product teams on Product Led Growth and user activation This role reports into the TRUX Product team where we are dedicated to building the next generation of web and mobile products that will transform the construction industry. We are focused on creating compelling new software experiences for many different users in an industry historically underserved by technology.


Responsibilities:

Establish and enforce the TRUX standard of design best practices in information architecture, user experience, interaction design, and user interfaces.

Work closely with the product management team to create compelling experiences and designs that realize our shared vision and objectives.

Create sketches, detailed wireframes, user flows, and high fidelity mockups; and, effectively communicate them to relevant teams, both internal and external.

Partner with Product Management and Analytics to initiate and manage quantitative analyses to inform design/UX optimization efforts.

Conduct user interviews, customer feedback sessions and other usability studies to generate customer insights for new and existing product features and offerings.

Develop and maintain collaborative UI tools like design toolkits, brand books and style guides.

Drive the design review cycle, close on design requirements, and achieve consensus.

Work directly with engineers through implementation, testing, documentation, and release.

Develop user personas and journey maps based on qualitative and quantitative data to inform marketing, sales and product development.

Think about the user experience from start-to-finish with a focus on simplifying complex data into easy to understand dashboards, intuitive use, and beautiful design.


Qualifications:

Experience participating as a member of a scrum team responsible for a critical step (UX/UI Design) in the Software Development Life Cycle.

5+ years of experience as a professional designer of mobile and web applications.

Thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure, start-up culture with great ambitions.A portfolio or work samples demonstrating a range of artifacts developed in creating a variety of stunning user-centered design solutions.

Strong understanding of usability and accessibility principles.

Enthusiasm to engage with our users and stakeholders.

Demonstrated fluency in best practices for web-based and mobile information architecture and responsive design, as well as deep and broad knowledge of usability principles and techniques.

Bachelors Degree.
