What you'll do as a Lead Social Media Copywriter

  • Create timely pieces of branded content to live across a range social platforms
  • Partner closely with design and strategic leads to concept and execute ideas
  • Respond to feedback provided by internal department heads and external stakeholders
  • Write in a clear and consistent tone that builds off the Better brand voice
  • Manage junior team members and help them deliver their highest standard of work

About You:

In this role, you'll partner closely with design and strategy leads to generate timely, shareable content to live across a spread of social platforms. Ideally, you're the kind of person who can generate and execute on ideas fast. The mortgage industry moves quickly, and we need someone who can keep up with the conversation.

  • You have at least 5+ years copywriting experience
  • You have a deep knowledge and mastery of the social media landscape
  • You're at the expert level in G-suite (bonus if you know your way around Figma)
  • You have experience providing creative direction and managing copywriters
  • You have a portfolio that shows a range of strong, creatively rich copywriting
  • You know how to develop and implement thought-provoking content that answers a brief
  • You're a self-motivated individual who doesn't wait to be told what to do
  • You have a proven ability to ship work fast without sacrificing quality
  • You take criticism in your stride and know when to stand up for your ideas
  • You die a little inside when you see that someone left out an Oxford comma
