About You:
You love technology in all its forms, software or hardware, user-facing or back-end, and its your lifes mission to create new tech products and services. Not afraid to jump into new and unknown technologies, you are very hands-on and practice on-the-job-training with vague goals. A clean whiteboard, fresh code file, empty breadboard with no guardrails is where you thrive and do your best work. You are a creative coder. You have a Product mindset and understand customer dynamics, and are comfortable speaking with figures of authority.
What skills do I need?
- Proven software development skills: programming, algorithmics, software project management, at least 2 high-level programming languages knowledge
- Demonstrable applied math skills, for example: statistics, calculus, linear algebra, computational geometry, and the like
- Hands-on engineering experience in disciplines beyond software (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, etc.) is preferred
- Some experience with machine learning, computer vision, robotics, or similar pursuits.
- Some experience doing research at any capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop demos of technological prototypes over the Tulip platform
- Advance innovation throughout the organization: facilitate hackathons and brainstorms, support writing patent applications
- Externalize your work to Tulip stakeholders (CEO, Head of Product) and our customer base through publications, presentations and videos
