About the Job:

This position offers the right candidate an opportunity for a hands-on technical role to scale our growing Corporate IT department. We are looking for a detailed-oriented End User Technologist who possesses strong skills in troubleshooting, customer service, and being flexible and a team player. No task is above or beneath this person.

Job Duties:

  • Leave no stone unturned in the relentless pursuit of providing excellent customer service
  • Leverages Jira Service Desk to track and manage support issues and service requests within Service Level Objectives
  • Prepares, configures, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, phones, printers and other end user devices.
  • Creates and assumes ownership of accounts in Active Directory, Office365, and internal business applications.
  • Be an IT Sherpa when new hires on-board to guide them on how to use IT-related tools and conducting orientation and trainings
  • Learn and leverage the Scrum methodology to manage non-support related projects and tasks
  • Write and take ownership of documentation on IT systems and processes that will be consumed by both customers and the team
  • Support Audio/Visual functions of the company
  • May occasionally be required to provide support after main hours to complete support and project tasks
  • Play an integral role in various projects and company initiatives like a security program, office moves, and Windows 10 migrations

Basic Qualifications:

  • Superior customer service skills
  • Sense of humor is a must!
  • Troubleshooting experience for PC/Mac computers, desk phones, printers, networks etc.
  • Knowledge of IT fundamentals such as network protocols, DHCP, and DNS
  • Experience with enterprise Microsoft technologies such as AD, Office365, Skype, Office, etc.
  • Independent and self-directed work ethic when participating in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal mediums
  • Must be a self-starter and able to prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years experience in a corporate environment
  • Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM processes
  • Previous Scrum experience
  • Previous experience with technologies such as Confluence, Jira, GoToMeeting, imaging technologies, etc.
  • Current Microsoft, CompTIA, or Cisco certifications are a plus
  • Associates degree or bachelor degree preferred
