THE ROLE: Graphic Design Co-Op

**This role is for current Northeastern undergrad students**

What You'll Do:
Work under the guidance of the Designer to build boutique doors, ensuring consistency of vision
Develop and build designs in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality
Receive and give constructive feedback on each project with positive attitude
Must be able to shift priorities to meet deadlines based on changing calendars
Manage the creation of multiple template projects on a daily basis
Consistently apply and enforce style/brand guidelines

Fundamental understanding of design best practices
Organized, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
Working towards a BA in Graphic Design with educational training in typography
Experience creating and optimizing graphics for the web
Apparel/Fashion experience a plus!
Strong self-motivation and drive to succeed
Knowledge of principles of design, including: layout, typography, color, balance, composition and current design trends
Aptitude to work constructively under stress in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Acrobat

Base Salary Range: $20.00/hr

• • Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems.
  • Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC.
  • Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
  • Maintains grounds of facility or property performing such tasks as raking, sweeping, leaf blowing or snow removal.
  • Performs welding, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.
  • Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence and/or memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor in a collaborative nature.
  • Must Demonstrate the highest standards of professional behavior in all interactions as outlined in the company handbook, under the Standards of Behavior policy.

  Lead Essential Duties:

  • Assist manager in the preparation and administration of the facility maintenance budget
  • Lead initiative in parts inventory and cost control measures to eliminate waste
  • Lead the maintenance team in 5S and help foster a 5S mentality within the entire facility
  • Strategize and plan preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment
  • Assist manager in overseeing technician training.
  • Develop, Implement and Lead special projects as directed by the Facilities Manager. 

Other Job Requirements: 

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• 6 years or greater in an industrial setting
• Knowledge and troubleshooting abilities in all levels of electrical voltage
• Works well with a diverse group of people and understands the value of building professional relationships.
• Flexible to work all shifts.  
• Must provide proof of right to work in the US
• Must be willing and able to work overtime as required, may include weekends
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Must be willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Must be able to continuously climb and descend stairs safely
• Must be able to work on elevated surfaces as high as 50 feet to include the roof of the building.
• Must be willing and able to work on heavy equipment, such as high pickers, with extend to heights as tall as 35 feet as part of their primary function
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Must have some proficiency in computer skills
• Successful completion of a post offer criminal background check

Work Environment:

• Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts
• Noise level varies and can be loud
• Temperature in the fulfillment center may vary between 40 and 95 degrees, and will occasionally exceed 100 degrees

Hourly Range: $36-$40hr
