What you will be doing:

  • Leading a team of approximately 18 Business Development Representatives (BDR) and 2 managers.
  • Maintaining and developing executive level relationships internally with sales and marketing counterparts to help ensure the team is operating at maximum efficiency
  • Helping to strategize on overall organizational policies and procedures including compensation plans, key performance indicators, reporting, etc
  • Acting as a coach to the management team and helping them instill best-in-class Business Development practices
  • Target setting, one on one's, on call coaching, workshop leadership and increasing BDR daily motivation.
  • Contribute to sales staff by orienting, coaching and training employees.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales team quotas and all activities of lead generation.
  • Dive in and get your hands dirty by guiding BDR work, presenting to prospects, supporting in hiring or whatever may arise to push the team forward.
  • Quickly become an expert in the industries we serve with a complex understanding for how local service businesses market themselves locally and nationwide.

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7-10+ years of experience managing and leading a sales team
  • 5+ years of software selling experience
  • You are a true force to be reckoned with when it comes to outbound sales calling, prospecting and converting marketing generated leads
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and train sales teams in structured selling techniques
  • Remarkable and consistent track record of success
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to coach, develop and motivate a team
  • Understanding of the difference between a coach and a manager
  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM
