About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining tools and infrastructure for application development and deployment and will provide support for application engineers. 

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Build and maintain development tools for engineering team
  • Create and maintain application infrastructure as code
  • Manage cloud infrastructure for all stages of application development
  • Ensure appropriate application and infrastructure logging and monitoring
  • Find and mitigate applications vulnerabilities
  • Implement security, access control, and software development policies

Requirements 

  • 3+ years of proven work experience 
  • Experience with Linux systems in Docker and Kubernetes 
  • Experience with cloud environments like Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Experience with SQL 
  • Experience with web systems like Apache, NGINX, and HAProxy
  • Experience with Git and GitHub
  • Experience building and deploying containerized applications 
  • Experienced with multiple programming languages, including shell scripts
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible
  • Experience with software build pipelines for CI/CD
  • Experience writing command line tools
  • Familiarity with networking and system administration
  • Familiarity with infrastructure, application, and system security
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to read and write PHP
  • Ability to read and comprehend code
