In this role, you will drive analytical work critical to informing and supporting Facebook Inc.s Ads and Business Platform (ABP) short and long-term strategy. The ABP Ecosystems team sits horizontally across the companys core monetization teams, tasked with understanding the key levers and risks in the $70 Billion business across the family of apps. As an analytics leader, you would work with cross-functional partners and other data scientists on both long and short-term analyses, communicating findings and recommendations to FB executives.You will be responsible for defining and executing complex data investigation projects; including identifying relevant data from existing sources, proposing new data collection schemes, and analyzing, driving insights and constructing predictive models and algorithms. You will be expected to use data to provide meaningful recommendations and actionable strategies to key stakeholders, and develop best practices, including streamlining of data sources and related programmatic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience and passion for solving ambiguous and challenging problems in ads, business, or economic fields. Additionally, you will have a proven track record of thought leadership and impact in developing high quality analytics programs and working across functions to uncover and shape data-driven recommendations.

This includes measuring and improving performance, reliability, security, and efficiency of network communication with Facebook servers. Getting the most out of a diverse set of worldwide mobile networks, and millions of handsets with a wide range of hardware capabilities is challenging as well as fun. All this while we play good citizens in these networks and are mindful of the device battery, storage, and data consumption.
