Job Description

We are looking for our next Marketing Superstar to join our team and take charge of sharing stories and spreading the word about how the future of work is all about digital employee experience.

Are you a driven and proactive Communications Specialist with several years experience working in a fast-paced technology company? Do you have proven experience developing and rolling out internal and external communications strategies? Are you searching for an exciting, new challenge within a growing and dynamic company? If this sounds like you, read on.

You have a love of storytelling, a passion for grammar (Oxford commas, love or hate?) and enjoy rolling up your sleeves and delivering on exciting projects. Ensuring everyone is in the know and feeling like part of a successful team are two key elements you are looking for in your next role. You know communications is the lifeblood of any company and you are excited about getting into the mix.

The role:

Support the internal and external communications function in conjunction with senior managers to ensure key messages are communicated clearly and consistently.

Support in drafting written content, including news releases, blogs, commentary, award submissions and speaking opportunities.

Analyze and report on PR and communications performance to marketing stakeholders.

Create and execute media strategies that enhance the company's visibility and reputation and attract the right talent to build Nexthinks talent pipeline.

Support the dissemination of information internally, plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for:

Communication and copy-writing skills are at your core.

You love to learn new things; your curiosity is insatiable and striving to be better and personal growth are important to you.

Your profile:

Bachelors degree in journalism, communications, public relations or marketing

3-4 years experience in a communications role working in the technology space either in-house or at an agency

Passion for innovation, technology and understanding of how to engage with a technical audience

Outstanding communication and copy-writing skills

Great aptitude for collaboration and creativity

Excellent writing, editing and proofing skills

Strong judgement and the ability to respond promptly to urgent matters

Proven experience developing written content for communications

Experience creating strategies and executing on external and internal communications

Passion for finding and telling stories that connect to brand, mission and purpose

Some travel required
