Brief Overview:

The Clinic is looking for a Vice President, Payer Sales who will play a critical role in driving growth and deal-making with key relationships within the Health Plan channel. Reporting into to Kelly Keegan, Senior Vice President, of Sales, this person will be a key member of the sales organization as expansion occurs.

The Vice President, Payer Sales will identify, create and capture new health plan business revenue opportunities in the US. This position requires a high-energy, well-rounded sales leader who can effectively pursue new business opportunities and deliver results in this high growth channel.

A strong background in domestic payer sales with an established network is key. The highly consultative position requires a polished individual who can articulate vision, present value, and establish long-term relationships. Experience with demonstrating value for payers and taking new products to market are essential in this role.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales leader with a focus on growth and new business development
  • Create and execute targeted sales plan. Identify the highest potential health plan opportunities and plan to introduce The Clinics solutions to prospects.
  • Meet or exceed client expectations by building relationships, facilitating meetings, and delivering solutions which meet the needs of new prospects
  • Take consultative approach in establishing credibility with potential new clients
  • Partner with marketing to develop market engagement strategy and drive lead generation
  • Perform sales presentations to match product offering with identified needs of prospects.
  • Clearly communicate value proposition and ROI of our products and services both realized and potential
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that reflect the core values of The Clinic
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and create new payer business revenue

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 10+ years sales and/or business development experience in Health Plan segment
  • Self-starter who is comfortable dealing with and managing in an extremely fluid, fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding time management and organization skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills written, oral, visual
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint (experience with MS Project or other project management software a plus)
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding multi-million dollar quota
  • Travel as needed
