TargetX, a Liaison company, is seeking an experienced Client Success Manager for the Client Success Team, who is passionate about technology and helping colleges and universities be successful. This position reports into the Director, Client Success and is an individual contributor role directly responsible for achieving the company’s client retention and revenue goals. This position will have an assigned client list and become the single point of contact (quarterback) for clients throughout the client lifecycle. They will work very closely with all departments within TargetX to ensure clients are successful. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of the higher ed market and has strong leadership experience in higher education software sales, account management and client services.

Own overall relationship with assigned clients: ensure client adoption, retention and satisfaction. Achieve quarterly renewal and upsell quotas.
Establish a trusted/strategic advisor relationship with multiple contacts at each assigned client and drive continued value of our products and services.
Work to identify and develop upsell opportunities.
Develop, prepare, and nurture clients for client evangelism.
Advocate client needs across internal departments. Be the “champion in the ring” for assigned clients. Program manage account escalations.
Ensure client contacts at all levels are seeing value in their partnership with TargetX by conducting regular performance reviews with customers. Communicate results with clients and internally.
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills. Skilled presenter. Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of an organization both internally and externally.
At least five years of client services, sales, or software implementation experience in the software, IT services, or Higher Education sector.
Prefer experience working in the higher ed market.
Deep knowledge of frameworks and structures for supporting a rapidly growing client base with a hands on approach and a deep thinking, analytical mindset.
Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS). Familiarity with Salesforce.com, Force.com and AppExchange technologies a huge plus.
Bachelor's Degree is required.
