The Business Analysis Advisor identifies, creates and executes specific deliverables and activities in a lead role as part of a product, project, or program delivery team within Enterprise Information Securitys (EIS) Identity & Access Management (IAM) team.
Position responsibilities include the following:
Leads other IAM Business Analysts to consistently analyze and translate business needs to create high-quality Business Requirements and Functional Specifications documentation within specified time frames to solve complex IAM problems considering all impacted end-to-end components
Provides oversight or mentoring of the documentation of business requirements across IAM domain
Expert in multiple IAM products or tools. May perform in a product management role as required
Ensure that the current & proposed IAM business Process Flows are complete and accurate as needed to support the Requirements Specification documentation
Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of business systems, process and application analysis across IAM or spanning other cyber security domains or programs
Ensures that IAM BAs assigned to products or projects work with the business areas to support the review of the Test Planning and Execution Activities
Works across the IAM domain and program(s) to partner with delivery leadership to help identify scope, impacts, or risk within a domain or program
Ensures adherence, in partnership with delivery team leadership, to high level task estimates for IAM product roadmaps or project plans
Proactively monitors, identifies, and communicates IAM risks and issues that may impact any aspect of the product or project to the appropriate Program Delivery leadership
Completes activities on time and within budget, and proactively identifies and communicates issues that may jeopardize milestones or project budget to the Product or Project Manager
Leads DevSecOps methodology by utilizing internal procedures and tools to identify areas for methodology improvement and best practices
Leads BA team meetings across domains or programs to share information about IAM products, projects and programs to identify dependencies
Ensures BAs or self are updating the IAM Product Overviews, FAQs, Tool Glossaries, system training material, and system user documentation to support implementation activities
Proactively engages IAM stakeholders to ensure all communication materials (ex. Executive summaries, operational manuals, etc.) are documented and distributed appropriately
Partners with team leadership to mentor and coach less-experienced IAM BAs on all aspects of the BA role (processes, deliverables, etc.) as well as any applications they work with across the projects within their domains or programs
Provides feedback to IAM leadership on BA performance as requested
Participates in or leads the documentation processes relating to decision making rationales/ methodologies in support of product or project deliverables
Contributes, on an as needed basis, to the IAM product design through effective interfacing with build team and architectural resources
Participates as needed in Business Analyst interviews and hiring decisions
5-8+ years Business Analyst experience
Ability to recognize and solve complex problems/objectives and apply creativity to analyze situations, develop solutions and procedures with IAM concepts such as authentication, authorization, identity management, access requests, provisioning, deprovisioning, or access reviews
Must possess sound knowledge of structured IT application development lifecycles or methodologies
Ability to lead cross-functional teams

3+ years lead, supervisory, or management experience
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Bachelors degree in a cyber security or IT field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
