As Bullhorn’s UX Researcher you’ll partner with product teams to produce a steady pipeline of results and recommendations that influence design strategy and direction, to deliver an incredible customer experience. You’ll be responsible for applying appropriate qual and quant methods to gain deep insights into the behaviors and attitudes of our users. And you’ll help to mature our research practice – by coaching best practices, working to reduce bias, improving communication, and establishing a regular cadence of product measurement.

As a UX Researcher, a typical day might include:

  • Collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to define objectives and develop a research plan

  • Providing guidance on research methodology and best practices, to most effectively provide insight and answers to key questions

  • Executing on research plans, including recruitment and scheduling, conducting interviews, developing surveys, debriefing, and synthesis of results

  • Communicating findings to product teams and executives

 

This job might be for you if:

  • You’ve directed and executed on successful research projects with a clear impact

  • You’re a strong communicator, with examples of crisp, timely insights

  • You’re an astute observer of human behavior, able to identify and articulate behavioral patterns, dig deep into motivation, and synthesize results

  • You have a knack for reducing bias

  • You have experience with a wide range of research methods, including field studies, surveys, card sorting, journey mapping, persona development, and usability testing

  • Have 3+ years of experience conducting research in a software development environment

Bonus points for:

  • Experience researching ATS or CRM products for the recruiting and staffing industry

  • Experience developing and conducting studies in global markets

  • Experience or an interest in facilitating design thinking workshops
