Viator and TripAdvisor Experiences are looking for a Needham-based Senior UX Copywriter to join the TripAdvisor Experiences content strategy team.The ideal candidate brings with them a background in copywriting and the ability to create compelling UX copy for a specific audience. This role reports into our Senior Content Strategy Manager, based in San Francisco, on a variety of projects involving content quality, research, and hierarchy, as well as working cross-functionally with product managers, researchers, engineers, and brand. This is a great career opportunity for a candidate who is both creative and analytical, able to create great content, identify gaps and opportunities, and clearly present ideas and work to internal partners.


  • Write compelling UX copy for both brands in partnership with product and design
  • Support the Sr. Content Strategy Manager with audits, inventories, workflow analysis, metadata, and competitive analysis
  • Think strategically about solutions for quality content at scale and successfully measuring content performance
  • Facilitate coordination between product teams on requirements gathering for various projects
  • Help drive category management and strategy
  • Understand the customer journey from pre-sale, to product usage, to support requirements
  • Help drive the research and analysis required for various projects
  • Manage several complex projects simultaneously
  • Work across several time zones, including regular travel to the San Francisco office

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: BA in Business, Journalism, English, or related field required
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience as a Content Strategist, Copywriter, or similar role, with a portfolio of UX-focused writing samples
  • Ability to write brief, persuasive, on-task text that keeps users engaged and reduces confusion
  • Ability to produce SEO - and persona-driven content
  • Solid copy-writing and editing skills in English
  • Great time-management and communication skills
  • A constant drive to stay up-to-date with the latest industry news and developments
  • Experience with competitive analysis and user research
  • Passion for TripAdvisors mission and deep empathy for our diverse community

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Excel training
  • Salesforce experience
  • SQL experience
