Job Description

Technical Implementation Engineers interface directly with internal and external stakeholders to perform iboss product/service implementations. An ideal candidate for this role will have a wide breadth of knowledge and experience with enterprise networks, systems, and cybersecurity. An outstanding candidate will have previously been the go-to network engineer, system administrator, or security engineer in a previous role. The outstanding candidate will also understand the challenges that administrators face when trying to secure their users and devices in todays borderless network landscape and have a track record of solving them. Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to new and existing customers
  • Work with customers, sales teams and customer success engineers to identify implementation success criteria
  • Perform customer installations of hardware and cloud solutions
  • Perform customer configuration and overview of iboss solution
  • Identify and communicate best practices with regards to customer configuration
  • Provide additional details of product features and enhancements
  • Provide field feedback to product management and development teams (new features)
  • Provide project oversight for the implementation, leveraging project management best practices
  • Provide configuration documentation and successfully transition implementation to Customer Success Engineer and support team
  • Stay abreast of product changes, working with lab and test systems to come up to speed quickly with new capabilities, devices, and features

Qualifications

  • Previous technical support and implementation experience to include;
  • 3-5 years of experience designing and supporting multilayer IP networks; routing and switching
  • 3-5 years of experience with network security; firewalls, intrusion prevention, risk assessment, content filtering, PKI, SSL/TLS
  • 3-5 years of experience managing Windows Server or Red Hat Linux server environments; Proficient with Linux
  • 3-5 years of experience managing large (>1k seat) Windows and Mac workstation deployments
  • 3-5 years of experience managing DNS; Microsoft or Bind
  • Experience with acquiring and analyzing packet captures
  • Experience/familiarity with managing enterprise deployments of iOS, Android, and Chromebook devices
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction

  • Experience managing projects with defined success criteria
