: Sr. Manager, Paid Social Prospecting

The Paid Social Prospecting Teams primary objective is to drive new customer growth for Wayfair via our digital partners. We work closely with Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and other social platforms to reach our target customers. Our job is to fuel growth for Wayfair by introducing new customers to our email marketing program, giving them a positive on-boarding experience so they have an opportunity to become part of our loyal customer base. We partner with AdTech, Data Science, Creative and other marketing teams to create smarter, more automated, and scalable programs with increased personalization.

What You'll Do

  • Youll coach, motivate, and manage a team of 3+ analysts and associates responsible for hitting ROI targets on a multi-million-dollar advertising budget across our portfolio of Paid Social strategies in the US and Canada
  • Youll own all relevant workstreams within your program, keeping your direct reports and cross-functional team members focused on the right priorities, while considering tradeoffs in a complex ecosystem
  • Youll evaluate new testing opportunities and develop strong collaborations with a variety of top advertising partners
  • Youll join forces with the creative and promotions team to brainstorm, test and measure the impact of new designs, ad formats and messaging
  • Youll work cross-functionally with our Data Science and AdTech teams to develop new measurement methodologies and to build automation into channel management so that we can streamline ad launches, bid updates, audience updates, and improve internal reporting infrastructure

What You'll Need:

  • 7+ years experience in ad technology, data science, management consulting, finance, and/or corporate strategy with a heavy analytical and technical emphasis
  • Demonstrated ability to own strategy, and prioritization and execution of initiatives from beginning to end with limited oversight
  • A proven track record of high performance and impact. Ability to create thoughtful recommendations to elevate performance against our KPIs
  • Demonstrated interest / ability to creatively problem solve in ambiguous environments (initiatives will span multiple teams and geographies)
  • Comfort in a rapidly evolving environment and ability to pivot quickly and deliver against moving targets and goals
  • An interest in being in a right- and left- brain role - thinking about improvements to our attribution models as well as enhancements to our ad creative
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to all levels of the organization from our intern to the C-Suite
  • High attention to detail, top notch analytical skills with a high proficiency in Excel necessary. Intermediate to advanced proficiency with analytical tools such as SQL, R, Python, etc. a strong plus
