Sr. Experience Design Manager (UX) – Best in Class
Who We Are
Were the Experience Design team at Wayfair, and were tackling exciting challenges that are reshaping how people discover, find, purchase and have goods delivered to their homes. Were a diverse, multidisciplinary team of world-class designers who are hard at work transforming the experience of shopping for your home. Our design practice is collaborative, data-driven, and fast-paced.
How can we leverage AR to make it easier for our customers to imagine how furniture would fit in their space? How can we seamlessly connect them with gig economy assembly and installation pros to get that new chandelier installed before the next dinner party? If you're interested in answering these types of questions, you're the Experience Designer we're looking for.
What Youll Do
Reporting to the Associate Director of Experience Design for Best in Class team, you will share responsibility for one of Wayfairs most important strategic priorities: to ensure a best-in-class shopping experience for millions of products across hundreds of product categories, for all of our brands and geographies.
As part of the Compare & Select team, your goal will be to build experiences across the funnel that help our customers quickly and confidently select the right products for their home and lifestyle. Once a customer has identified a candidate product, they want to compare it to similar products using attributes that are important to them. Given the wide variety of products Wayfair offers, the ideal comparison experience may need to vary. After all, customers may be in drastically different mindsets when comparing sofas, refrigerators, wall art, or mattresses.
How do you concisely lay out the options so they can quickly and confidently make a final selection?
This role offers the opportunity to transform the way millions of consumers around the world create homes they love, have a major impact at a rapidly growing $10B public company, partner with senior executives across the company on a high-profile initiative, and build a cross-functional team of experienced product managers, software engineers, product designers, analysts and data scientists.
