The leader of Identity & Access Management (I&AM) is responsible for all identity, access, authentication, authorization, and related capabilities for the enterprise, covering 300,000 workforce identities. The role directs strategy, planning, build out, and operations. Also included are the responsibilities for privileged user management, user behavior analytics, and cloud identity and access management.
Develop and implement the strategy, architecture, and policies for the Identity & Access Management systems.
Proactively work with key stakeholders and users to deliver a best-in-class Identity & Access Management system
Lead the capability transformation of the I&AM technology portfolio to deliver leading edge capabilities leveraging analytics and automation.
Build and implement I&AM capabilities and services. Establish and mature I&AM services and controls for a hybrid multi-cloud ecosystem.
Responsible for the operations of the I&AM systems in support of the business. This includes provisioning, entitlements and recertifications for a large portfolio of systems, applications, and resources.
Ensure the I&AM systems and operations meet various regulatory and audit requirements.
Performing vendor management for technology product implementations as well as staffing resources.
15+ years relevant experience required
Demonstrated ability to lead a technology forward team that is focused on improving the customer experience with Identity and Access Management systems.
Demonstrated ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders to define and implement a wide range of strategic and operational projects.
Detailed and extensive knowledge of identity management principles and technologies.
Experience running a large (ideally retail or healthcare) Identity & Access Management Operations function and managing competing strategic and operational priorities.
Strategic thinking when it comes to new, innovative solutions in the Identity and Access Management space to solve challenging problems in areas such as access recertification and privileged user management.
Experience satisfying legal, regulatory, and audit requests related to Identity and Access Management systems.
Ability to influence and lead through change in a complex environment.
