Job Description
This role is part of our Enterprise Digital Organization. As the Analyst, and member of the Strategic Partnerships team, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities and threats in the external digital market and will support execution against those opportunities by informing the strategy of business units, and delivering against specific opportunities through partnerships, investments, or other strategic relationships.
This role will support Director(s) and Sr. Director to identify and explore strategic partnerships that will enhance our existing capabilities or enable new products/services. This role will build and maintain a robust pipeline of partners/deals and work in close collaboration with Procurement, IT, Finance, and Legal business units to support the vendor approval process for onboarding of partners and deal execution. You will support the development of business cases for new solutions or technologies and the articulation of enterprise capability needs.
As an analyst, this individual will play a supporting role in leading partnership discussions, providing supporting analyses, and coordination functions.
Responsibilities:
1. Partnership Evaluation: Contribute to market research, outbound sourcing activities and analyses to support new business model and product development efforts with external partners and CVS stakeholders
Performs industry, company and competitor searches (including cold calling/emailing).
Prepares and conducts business analyses to support evaluation of strategic partnership opportunities.
Maintains regular tracking and reporting for internal business development pipeline.
Organizes electronic files, data, and information.
2. Partnership Approval Process: Lead the Vendor Approval Process for existing and new vendors
Build internal and external relationships to manage approval process.
Track the status of the approval process via systems.
Stay current on the status of the approval workflow with frequent touchpoints with Business Owners and internal stakeholders.
Assist with escalations.
3. Partnership Execution: Coordinate internal processes and external meetings to drive partnership deal execution and internal implementation
Facilitates non-disclosure agreements for external potential partners and business development opportunities.
Facilitates the coordination and planning of external partner meetings and internal strategic meetings.
Develops, coordinates, and consolidates agenda items and presentation materials for meetings involving internal and external parties.
4. Business Unit Support: Collaborates with BU to evaluate various strategic opportunities as requested or assigned by supervisors.
Required Qualifications
5+ years relevant experience
Knowledge of:
Basic understanding of general business terms, market research methods and tools
Skill In:
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Experience in business or technology.
Strong analytical, written, listening, and oral communication skills. Attention to detail is very important.
Ability To:
Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of:
Contracting processes and budget/financial model forecasts and projections
Skill in:
Experience in healthcare
Prior experience in partner management, business development, etc.
Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience required, Masters preferred
