We are looking for an Architect to join our Clinicals team within our Core Services Engineering organization.
Our athenaClinicals team builds code that matters, working on the beating heart of doctors workflows that is used by over 100,000 healthcare providers daily. We build the interface that makes the interactions between these providers and the electronic health record as seamless as possible, and elevates what the doctor needs to see, when they need to see it. The Team: The Care Management team is building tools that will help deliver outcome-changing care management services to vulnerable patient populations.
Patients live most of their lives outside the walls of the hospital or doctors office, and care management is all about meeting patients where they are at and keeping them healthy between appointments. Produce technical design specifications and guidance to the appropriate detail, acting as an advisor to a zone and/or multiple chartered scrum teams
Provide design and architectural guidance and governance in delivering software components and services
Provide a vision of the core framework of technology services and the components for your product which enable reuse by the technology teams
Understands scalability and performance in terms of systems and infrastructure architecture
Contribute to team technical development and team building
10+ years of experience including as a technical software product architect
Technical Leadership with hands-on design and development experience across multiple technical stacks, including traditional and modern stacks on public and private Cloud
Substantial expertise in modern programming languages and modern web frameworks such as ReactJS, Unix/Linux, Big Data, SQL, NOSQL, RESTful API and various other technologies
Understanding of scalable, microservice architectures and experience in applying them to real world problems, with experience in large scale HADR Cloud-based systems
Extensive experience working in an Agile environment preferred
