The mission of Development Platforms is to materially and durably increase developer velocity at Wayfair. We act as a force multiplier to thousands of engineers company-wide, building tools, systems, and automation to eliminate toil, make quality the default, and scale engineering activities to help Wayfair become a global leader. We're looking for a technically oriented product leader to guide and scale world-class software release and deployment tooling for Wayfairs engineering teams.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the roadmap of improvements to the release and deploy experience, developer efficiency and usability of existing tools
  • Utilize data to find and prioritize opportunities to have a strong and measurable impact on deploy frequency and velocity
  • Constantly challenge the status quo, and always think of new creative ways to implement tools/processes/behaviors to solve business problems
  • Work cross-functionally to prioritize competing interests and focus project plans and the team on the highest impact activities
  • Influence engineering culture both in and outside of the Development Platforms organization, acting as a go-to technical expert and problem solver
  • Work closely with engineers, engineering leaders, and other internal teams to identify key engineering needs - how our internal tools and platforms should change to accommodate the evolving needs of the business

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager
  • Proven product management experience across the full product development lifecycle
  • Experience with Git, continuous integration, continuous deployment, Kubernetes and Feature Toggles
  • Comfortable making decisions with less-than-perfect data and can balance speed and uncertainty to deliver against ambitious business goals
  • Ability to quickly solve or seek solutions in an agile, fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Demonstrated track record of success in developing relationships with stakeholders, working collaboratively and leveraging influence to drive multi-team projects

Nice To Have
