We are looking for a Senior/Lead Member of Technical Staff to join our athena Intelligence division. You will be partnering with senior business and product leadership to do great things. Ultimately your work will focus on improving corporate performance, product performance and clinical outcomes. But enough about us, lets talk about you.
You are a developer with extensive experience in designing and building full stack web applications, preferably in public and private cloud environments with some experience building and using large-scale automated test infrastructure. You are an excellent communicator with the capability of quickly picking up the complicated healthcare space.
You are a tenacious, but nimble learner, who demonstrates design & engineering excellence.

Our services will improve healthcare operations and clinical outcomes, uncover unique business insights, and predict results with accuracy unrivaled in the market. Our data store will be the largest and most coveted asset in healthcare as we solidify our position as the healthcare backbone.
The full stack developers of the Insights team in a.i., will build a complex visualization platform for the users to study various trends and insights on the current scenario and help them make informed decisions on key business drivers.
Responsibilities

Drive from Conceptualization to Deployment of analytics suite of products that are robust and can stand the test of time as athenahealths data volume is increasing day by day.

Build and Maintain a scalable visualization framework which will be used for building the entire analytics suite of products in athenahealth

Be very data-driven in designing new features by extensively relying on usage patterns, bucket-testing, A-B Testing, and a very deep understanding of customer objectives.

Be an expert at Visual Articulation & specialize in the art of expressing complex data stories in simple & powerful visual compositions.

Have natural ability to understand the end to end technical stack, and be able to debug and drive right design decisions.

Work closely with user experience team & product managers to build things that are normally regarded as state of art browser-based analytics applications.

Actively participate in design and code reviews to build robust applications and prototypes.
Technical Experience Expertise

Proficient in Problem Solving and Data structures since you got to find the best way of handling huge set of data.

Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.

In depth understanding of Javascript

Ability to design optimized and modular components which need to be used across our platform.

Good understanding of MVC architecture and experience in frameworks and libraries like React / Angular / Vue is desirable.

Experience in setting up complete UI workflow layer right from Implementation, Testing, Building and Deployment.

Experience in frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation and CSS pre-processors like SASS and LESS is desirable.

Experience with NodeJS, Socket connections and mechanisms to handle real-time async data would be a plus.

Experience with AWS cloud technologies is a nice to have

Experience with using frameworks to draw graphs - D3, highcharts etc., is an added advantage

Understanding of ECMAScript 2016, JavaScript transpilers (Babel, CoffeeScript, TypeScript), and JavaScript build tools (Browserify, WebPack, Grunt, Gulp) is a nice to have
