Bullhorn: Senior Security Engineer

As a Senior Security Engineer at Bullhorn, you will a key technical contributor to the cyber security program that will protect the business from external and internal threats. You will lead projects to implement new security tools, respond to security threats and/or incidents as well as overseeing the lifecycle of both network and application vulnerabilities. You will have time split between operational work to keep the established security responsibilities running smoothly and project-based work to help increase the security posture of the organization.

As a Senior Security Engineer, a typical day might include:

  • Managing an enterprise Network, as well as Application Vulnerability Management and Threat Intelligence Programs

  • Leveraging security tools such as SIEM, IPS, and WAF systems to ensure proper configuration and operation

  • Reacting and investigating to security alerts and leading the security team in incident responses

  • Assisting with the formulation and enforcement of applicable security policies and employee security training programs

This job might be for you if:

  • You have 3+ years Security Experience

  • You have applicable knowledge of designing a comprehensive security program for SaaS applications and Corporate environments including Security Assessments, Risk Management, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, and Security Training

Bonus points for:

  • BA or BS degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science (additional experience may be substituted)
  • Security related certifications

  • Knowledge of a scripting language to automate tasks

  • Experience managing infrastructure including Windows and Linux servers, Docker containers and Kubernetes, network administration, and cloud environments
  • Candidates with strong system administration backgrounds and a desire to move into the security field will also be considered
