Who are we and what do we do?

The Tours IT department provides end-user and infrastructure support for 10 EF offices, and multiple cloud datacenters worldwide, across all our Tours businesses. Our mission is to ensure that our technology works to not only advance the office locations we manage but also enrich the development of the application teams we support locally in our Cambridge hub.

What youll do:

Based in Cambridge, you will be part of the Tours IT group responsible for supporting the AWS Network infrastructure and key network components of a global organization based in multiple countries. You will:

  • Perform project-based engineering, design, implementation, and troubleshooting of network and security solutions
  • Design, configure, and deploy LAN and WAN routing and switching solutions in small to very large and complex data center/office including Internet Edge architectures
  • Provide technical leadership on complex projects and mentor other engineers
  • Develop comprehensive design documentation
  • Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

Who you

You are a proactive self-starter with a problem-solving mindset who can thrive both independently and collaboratively within a team. You have:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Network Architecture role or a Sr. Network Engineer role with 5+ years in network engineering, ideally in a global enterprise environment with e-commerce data center support
  • Professional Certification (CCNP, CCDP)
  • Wireless experience, ideally with Cisco WLC and Meraki, Ekahau Wireless tools
  • Experience with Catalyst and Cisco CSR100v
  • Experience with planning and implementing firewall changes (Fortinet, Meraki, Cisco)
  • Cloud networking (AWS or Azure)
  • In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
  • Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tool
  • Sharp troubleshooting skills

Bonus skills:

  • Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g Python, Perl)
  • NAC solutions both utilizing 802.1x authentication (cisco ISE) and newer solutions
  • Next generation firewalls
  • DDoS mitigation
