Brief Overview:

The Senior Marketing Manager, Health Systems will play a critical role in the Marketing Department. As a Senior Marketing Manager, Health Systems, youll be responsible for consulting with our health system partners to develop their marketing strategy and support them through user acquisition and retention for their telehealth platform. Youll be managing large-scale marketing programs for innovative, well-known health systems like the Cleveland Clinic and Intermountain Healthcare.

You'll be responsible for driving utilization for clients telehealth programs as well as retaining and growing the marketing partnership. You will have ample opportunity to tangibly impact the growth of American Wells marketing business. Specifically, the Senior Marketing Manager, Health Systems will:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Effectively partner with our key health system clients, gaining the trust of senior executives through exceptional communication, relationship building, and program execution
  • Develop a consistent track record of revenue growth for American Wells marketing business
  • Own results for these marketing programs
  • Work with the account owner to define, report on, and optimize key metrics
  • Oversee the execution of marketing programs for clients, in partnership with channel leads
  • Define processes that streamline internal workflows and drive scalable growth


  • 6+ years of experience in marketing or product management at a large health system, agency, or direct to consumer brand; healthcare marketing experience a plus
  • Desire to work with clients, often at the most senior level; client-facing experience preferred
  • Exceptional presentation, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
  • Experience and comfort with a variety of marketing technologies (automation, tracking and analytics, etc.)
  • Cross-channel marketing experience including paid digital, email, SEO, and content marketing; growth and mobile app marketing experience a plus
  • Bachelors degree, MBA or equivalent preferred
