Senior Manager of Statistics
The Analytic Consulting Group partners with both internal and external clients, and data providers, leveraging predictive analytics and advanced statistical and ML techniques to drive strategic thought and effective decision making. The Sr. Manager, Statistics is accountable for accurate, on-time delivery of all statistical deliverables for assigned book of accounts and leads team members in all aspects of statistical analysis involving digital and non-digital data.
Design, plan, and manage statistical projects from start to finish; manage multiple projects concurrently
Provide strategic technical direction to cross-functional resources and less-experienced peers
Recommend and plan complex analytical approaches and estimates appropriate time required at each step
Mentor and manage statistical resources both on shore and off shore
Evaluates current modeling methodology and systems; identifies and recommends improvements when necessary
Applies new industry techniques/ideas trends such as machine learning algorithms into current solution offering
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, economics, mathematics, marketing analytics) or significant relevant coursework required. Master's or PhD in similar discipline preferred
7 or more years of analytic experience including management of analytic professionals and database marketing experience
Strong analytic thought process and ability to interpret findings to clients
Strong communication skills
Mastery of various statistical methodologies such as regression analysis (both linear and non-linear), cluster analysis, CHAID, factor analysis/principal component analysis, time series, survival models, experimental designs
Experience with applying statistical and ML techniques on data from various digital channels
Demonstrated proficiency in SAS/SQL programming
Familiarity with R, Python, GA
Mastery of MS Office; including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
