What youll do:
The Senior Manager, Digital & Omnichannel Marketing is responsible for supporting a variety of initiatives to help the CVS Digital Marketing team drive new strategies to acquire new customers, increase engagement with existing customers, and drive enterprise value across both online and offline channels via innovative digital tactics. The Senior Manager will play a key role in crafting marketing plans & budgets, building awareness and consensus across the organization for those plans, and ensuring marketing strategies are executed according to plan, on time, and on budget. Strategic thinking skills, marketing-savviness, a high degree of organization, data-oriented analytical abilities, and project management experience are key attributes that the Senior Manager will bring to the table.
Contribute to the holistic ecommerce Digital Marketing strategy for CVS.com, via preparing competitive analysis, leveraging analytics to recommend next steps for optimizing campaigns, and leading developing of materials to communicate strategy to both internal and external partners.
Support the development of and manage the execution of marketing strategies and tactics across paid, earned, and owned channels. Tactics include email, direct mail, in-store, paid media, affiliate, social, and more.
Seamlessly pivot back and forth from providing thoughtful insight on strategic marketing efforts and day-to-day project management of campaigns in development.
Manage and develop strong, collaborative relationships with Business Partners across the organization to ensure marketing initiatives meet ecommerce launch and in-store deadlines.
Builds relationships with Merchandising & Digital to develop and manage experience enhancements, promotional plans, and sales strategies.
Apply lessons learned and continuously improve the way that work is developed and delivered, providing feedback and implementing changes to optimize internal processes.
Develops multi-channel marketing strategies and campaigns to drive referral, trial and repeat purchase - - with a keen focus on optimizing what is working and thinking big and broad about new ways to reach consumers.
Maps customer journey and identifies pre, during, and post purchase touchpoints vital to the experience and category building initiatives.
Becomes to go-to partner for business partners to identify, understand, and collaboratively solve for shopper barriers, driving sales change and developing strategies to drive incremental sales and share growth.
Proactively partners with Insights & Analytics to understand pre & post-analysis measurement efforts against established metrics and derive key insights regarding trends to optimize and maximize future campaigns.
Proactive self-education around retail and marketing industry trends / best practices to identify opportunities that are consistent with, and reinforce the CVS Health brand.
A passion for consumer behavior and digital innovation.
5+ years of marketing, strategy, consulting, ecommerce, and/or business development experience with a strong foundation in business, strategy, digital marketing, and consumer data.
3+ years of cross-functional leadership experience.
Experience with relevant marketing technology and channels, with a heavy focus on digital email, website, search, mobile app, and affiliate.
Intellectual curiosity and rigorous analytical experience, ability to use data to build a business case & marketing plan.
2+ years of digital marketing experience including examples of market sizing, testing, and validating emerging opportunities.
Self-motivated, high capacity individual who can function and win in a demanding, performance-driven environment.
Expert problem solver who can roll up their sleeves to break a problem down into its component parts and develop action plans.
Exposure to marketing and consumer research is preferred.
Proven track record of the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external business partners in delivery ROI positive results.
Excellent communication skills that can be effectively articulated in both written and oral forms across a diverse audience base.
Creative problem solver who can incorporate new learnings into existing plans and act decisively and independently.
Strong PC knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Bachelors degree in a related field (marketing, psychology, business) preferred; commensurate experience also acceptable in lieu of marketing degree.
MBA is a plus, but not required.
