Wayfair is looking for a highly analytical, strategically-minded Senior Manager to lead the B2B Strategic Operational Finance team, owning all Finance responsibilities for B2B. As a central member of the B2B leadership team, you will provide financial visibility and guidance for making better strategic and operational decisions. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a strong analytical background who enjoys tackling new challenges in a fast-paced, growing environment.

With B2Bs aggressive growth comes the need for strong financial partnership, planning, and support. The B2B Strategic Operational Finance team works closely with Finance and Accounting teams while also collaborating with business partners across B2B to improve our ability to monitor, communicate, and influence the financial health of the business. Our purpose is to enable our business to grow and operate more efficiently and profitably.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve the CFO function for the B2B business, influencing decisions through analysis and modeling to ensure business partners meet the financial objectives of the organization
  • Own the B2B P&L, working cross-functionally to optimize B2Bs profitability, establish financial goals and evaluate new strategies
  • Collaborate with each B2B stakeholder to cover all key performance metrics, and ensure successful end-to-end understanding of business performance, strategies, processes, and planning
  • Own the quarterly business planning process, coordinating across the organization to establish goals and ensure consistency, accuracy, and accountability
  • Add value to B2Bs business plan development by improving analytical rigor and stakeholder engagement
    Partner with Sales Operations to manage sales team headcount strategy, driving to maximize ROI
  • Lead the execution of critical projects that promote the success and efficiency of the B2B program
  • Provide strategic management of the supporting accounting and finance teams
  • Coach, mentor and develop the team, including hiring and providing career development planning and opportunities

What You'll Need:

  • 7+ years of work experience in strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, or private equity strongly preferred; including management experience
  • Ability to tell the story, persuasive communicator who can summarize and clearly articulate complex concepts, including effectively convey insights from analyses to other senior leaders
  • Demonstrated strategic, creative and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to break down complex business problems into discrete analyses and use data to make informed business decisions
  • Superb attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to drive complex projects to completion using effective project management, communication, and influence; strong ownership of tasks/deadlines/projects
  • Ability to build strong relationships, working productively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and executive management
