Senior Financial Analyst

Position Summary:

Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will be a key participant in the creation of the company’s annual (and long-term) operating plan that will provide management with analytical tools to establish goals and measure the performance of the company.  This hire will act as a financial business partner to cross-functional areas of the organization including Professional Services and Engineering.


  • Assists in driving monthly/quarterly forecasts including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, and headcount
  • Prepares and analyzes monthly and quarterly financial reports for management for financial close
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and communicate complex results succinctly
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis on the financial impact of strategic business initiatives as well as changes in key business drivers
  • Work with business line to develop KPIs that drive business insight including Utilization, margin (fixed fee and/or time materials), ROI analysis on strategic investments.
  • Partner with Operational teams to identify potential risks and opportunities for the business
  • Provide in-depth business insights by forecast modeling, benchmarking, and scenario analysis
  • Complete monthly variance analysis on financial close results and communicates to key business stakeholders 
  • Build and maintain financial models to support organizational decision making
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization within the functional area (reporting/analysis)
  • Participating in various business process improvement projects
  • Utilize the Oracle EPBCS (Enterprise Business Planning and Budgeting Cloud Solution) tool for budgeting, forecasts, analysis and reporting


  • Bachelors degree required in Finance, Economics or Accounting; Master's Degree preferred
  • 4-6 years experience in a financial advisory capacity
  • Strong business acumen and ability to evaluate business challenges from a broad perspective; linking business issues to their financial impact
  • Experience with working on cross functional projects
  • Highly organized and committed to developing standard efficient work practices; exceptional time management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable interacting with mid, senior, and executive management
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting 
  • Well balanced interpersonal skills; strong individual contributor and team player
  • Advanced Excel skills a plus 
  • Experience using Oracle Enterprise Business Planning and Budgeting Cloud Solution
