The Opportunity and Essential Responsibilities

Our team is looking for a spirited Senior Design Strategist to create thoughtful experiences that drive customer outcomes and help them achieve their cybersecurity goals.

In this role, youll partner with your UX, Customer success, Customer Experience, Support ,PM, Sales operations and business intelligence counterparts to:

  • Explore and craft design solutions for our customers most complex cybersecurity problems.

  • Help own and drive the evolution of our service and solutions, and influence the future of how we do business.

  • Drive meaningful outcomes that contribute to the company's bottom line and customer success.

  • Understand customer pain points and envision self service opportunities

A Snapshot of the Work Youll Be Doing

Experience Strategy and Partnerships team drive cross functional strategic partnership between product , GTM and other organizations to create outcome-driven, delightful, orchestrated, multi-channel experiences stitching all customer touch points.

  • Plan, lead and organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex customer centric projects

  • Build strong relationships with diverse internal stakeholders to bring the cross functional Rapid7 team together for maximum customer success, creating enduring relationships that advance personal and Ignite success

  • Display breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues

  • Lead proposal efforts for future strategic projects and partnership opportunities

  • Use a native sense of user experience, elegance, aesthetic appeal, and originality to generate unique, forward-looking design directions that inspire the broader team and customer.

  • Draft and deliver compelling narratives that capture insight and inspire executive-level audiences.

  • Demonstrate expertise in design thinking, workshop facilitation, service design principles and storytelling skills that bring complex solutions to life creatively, efficiently and powerfully.

  • Apply design to the innovation process to guide and influence research and strategy, from experience and category analysis to user research, breaking down products, experiences, categories, and trends to draw out insights.

  • Show courage and flexibility in determining the level of fidelity of stimulus, presentation, and activities to effectively capture deep user insights and communicate story and strategy to the customer

  • Contribute to compelling narratives that capture insight and inspire executive-level audiences.

  • Frame new opportunities and concepts that deliver value to customers and end users, balancing constraints, and knit together holistic visions of future customer success.

  • Are skillful at synthesizing complex concepts into usable and polished design deliverables. You can translate strategy, business requirements, research findings, and usability best practices into high quality, customer-centric design solutions that support and reinforce product vision, brand, and business objectives.

  • Believe deep partnership is the root of success. You naturally build strong partnerships across the organization, and you know how to create consensus, drive alignment, and influence outside your reporting chain.

  • Are a strong and dynamic communicator. You have the ability to tell a story and craft a narrative that compels your audience, drives alignment, and prompts action.

  • Have a strong sense of accountability. You have excellent time management skills, and hold yourself accountable to commitments.

  • Imbue energy, enthusiasm, and curiosity. You bring yourself every day, and embrace continuous learning and disciplined risk taking.

  • Have 5+ years of relevant experience in business strategy consulting or other relevant industry experience, with a focus on customer strategy, customer experience measurement, service design.
